A pedestrian was fatally struck by a motorist in Moreno Valley, officials said Sunday.
The pedestrian was struck a little before midnight in the area of Fir Avenue and Perris Boulevard, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
It was not known whether the motorist stayed at the scene or cooperated with authorities.
