A motorist died Thursday in a solo-vehicle crash south of Blythe.
The fatal crash was reported about 10:40 a.m. in the area of Seeley Avenue and Broadway Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Responding firefighters found a person trapped inside a crashed vehicle and worked quickly to free the motorist from the wreckage.
The unidentified person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
