Crews were battling a large hay bale fire Thursday evening at a dairy farm in San Jacinto.
The fire was reported at about 7:35 p.m. at the 2400 block of Ramona Expressway west of Highway 79, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
About 100 of 500 hay bales were on fire at the dairy farm, the department said.
Photos of the blaze from the fire department showed heavy smoke and flames.
