The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Saturday for the 40th consecutive day and 60th time in 61 days, increasing 2 cents to $3.719, its highest amount since Dec. 3, 2019.
The average price has increased 53.9 cents over the past 61 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It is 6 cents higher than one week ago, 28.5 cents more than one month ago and 26.2 cents greater than one year ago.
