A fire swept through a mobile home Friday in Wildomar, causing extensive damage to the structure and threatening adjacent properties before crews got it under control.
The non-injury blaze was reported about 1:35 p.m. in the 21000 block of Austin Street, near Elm Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
It took five engine crews and a truck company about 25 minutes to fully contain the blaze in the single-wide trailer, which was left uninhabitable. It was not occupied at the time the fire broke out, and it was unclear whether anyone might have been displaced.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
