One person was hurt Friday when a tractor-trailer struck two vehicles on Interstate 215 in Riverside.
The crash was reported about 8:45 a.m. on the northbound I-215 near University Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the big rig reported he hit two vehicles before pulling over to the shoulder. The two vehicles remained in the roadway, blocking at least two lanes and snarling traffic, the CHP reported.
One person suffered injuries in the crash, although the severity was not disclosed. It was not clear if the person was hospitalized.
