A fire broke out in the garage of a San Jacinto home, displacing five people.
The fire was reported at 1:17 p.m. at a single-family residence in the 1100 block of Newberg Commons, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The blaze was contained about half an hour later and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
The American Red Cross was requested to assist the three adults and two children displaced by the fire.
