A big rig and two other vehicles collided Monday on Interstate 10 in Beaumont, briefly blocking half of the freeway and tying up traffic.
The crash involving the tractor-trailer, a Toyota Tacoma pickup and a Kia Forte was reported about 12:30 p.m. in the middle lanes on the eastbound side of I-10, near the Highway 79 turn-off, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Kia ended up in the right shoulder, and the semi and pickup in the center divider.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics reached the location within a few minutes, but no one required medical attention, according to reports from the scene.
Two of four lanes were unobstructed after the wreck, but traffic was slow through the area. The pickup was significantly damaged and had to be towed away. The semi and Kia were drivable, according to the CHP.
By 1 p.m., the vehicles had been moved, and all eastbound lanes were available.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
