A motorcyclist was critically injured Sunday when the rider collided with another vehicle in the unincorporated area of Indio.
The crash occurred about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Street and Coyote Song Way, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a hospital for treatment, the department reported. There was no immediate word on the gender or age of the rider.
It was unknown if the other driver suffered any injuries.
