One person was trapped and seriously injured Friday evening when their vehicle went off a Beaumont road.
The incident was reported at 5:30 p.m. at Palmer Avenue and West Oak Valley Parkway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The patient was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters using hydraulic tools, officials said.
A Mercy Air Ambulance took the patient to a hospital for treatment of injuries described as major.
