A single-story home caught fire in Nuevo Wednesday morning, though nobody was injured.
The blaze was reported at 7:06 a.m. in the 23200 block of Sky Mesa Road and contained about 50 minutes later, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Six engine crews responded and encountered heavy smoke erupting from the garage area. There was no immediate word on the extent of the damage to the house.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
