Fire tore through a storage yard in Jurupa Valley Tuesday, charring at least two big rigs and multiple mobile homes before firefighters got the upper hand.
The non-injury blaze was reported at about 7:30 a.m. in the 8600 block of 63rd Street and extinguished about an hour and 45 minutes later, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Several engine crews responded and found multiple tractor-trailers and mobile homes ablaze. Thirteen engine crews in total fought the fire.
A fire official said a final tally of the number of big rigs and mobile homes charred was not available.
Fire crews were expected to remain on scene cleaning up until about noon.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
