Firefighters knocked down a fire that broke out in a large air-conditioning unit on the roof of a commercial building in Riverside Sunday.
The fire was reported at 2:34 p.m. at Alessandro Boulevard and Meridian Parkway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire was contained an hour later and no injuries were reported.
