Fire Saturday damaged a single-story home in Rancho Mirage.
Firefighters dispatched at 5:08 a.m. to an approximately 3,000-square-foot home in the 36700 block of Bluebird Avenue had the blaze contained at 6:37 a.m., the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
Officials said firefighters will remain on scene for approximately three hours, for an extensive overhaul.
