A fiery crash involving at least two vehicle on the 91 (Riverside) Freeway Saturday shut down two lanes, causing a traffic jam.
The crash was reported just after 4 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway west of Main Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told a CHP dispatcher that one vehicle rear-ended another one, causing an explosion.
The Corona Fire Department responded to the scene, though it was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.
A Sigalert was issued and the eastbound number one lane and the right toll lane were closed due to the crash, causing major congestion on both sides of the freeway.
