A fire at a house in Mead Valley burned for about 45 minutes Monday before being contained.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of a house fire at 4:28 p.m. in the 18800 block of Haines Street. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a single-story house fully enveloped in flames.
A total of eight fire engines were sent to the scene and firefighters were able to contain the blaze at 5:11 p.m., according to officials.
American Red Cross personnel were requested to help the three adults and one child who were displaced by the fire.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
