Firefighters Thursday contained a structure fire that broke out in a residential garage in Riverside.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of a residential structure fire at 9:43 a.m. Thursday in the 4000 block of Bartel Drive.
Fire crews arrived on the scene to find a single-story house with moderate smoke coming from the garage. Firefighters were able to contain the flames within 20 minutes and evacuated one person who was found inside without any injuries.
No firefighters or pedestrians were harmed by the blaze and all damages were contained to the garage.
The cause of the fire was undetermined but believed to most likely haven been human-caused.
