Maroon 5 and Brad Paisley will perform at the American Express PGA West 2022 concert series, event organizers announced Tuesday.

Maroon 5 will perform on Friday, Jan. 21 and Paisley will play on Saturday, Jan. 22 on the PGA West Stadium Course at the conclusion of each day’s round of play.

The tournament, scheduled for Jan. 20-23, will feature 156 professionals and 156 amateur golfers playing one round each at PGA West’s Stadium Course, Nicklaus Tournament Course and La Quinta Country Club.

This upcoming tournament will mark the fifth year that the tournament’s concert series has been held.

“Our concert series should be quite the performance. Together with American Express, we will bring in world-renowned artists Maroon 5 and Brad Paisley to our fans while also potentially introducing music buffs to their first taste of professional golf,” said Pat McCabe, the tournament’s executive director. “We believe we are meeting the musical interests of our fans in providing premium, topical musical entertainment for all to enjoy.”

Since its inception in 1960 as the Palm Springs Golf Classic — later known for many years as the Bob Hope Desert Classic — the PGA event has generated more than $63 million for non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting Coachella Valley residents, according to officials.
