Firefighters Friday contained a residential fire in Gavilan Hills that broke out in an attic.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of the non-injury blaze at 11:30 a.m. in the 23000 block of Gavilan Springs Ranch Road.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find that a chimney fire spread to the attic and lit the house ablaze.
Fire crews have since contained the blaze and are expected to remain on the scene until approximately 2 p.m., according to officials.
No injuries or displacements were reported.
