Two people involved in a rollover crash in Riverside had to be cut out of the wreckage by firefighters, authorities said Sunday.
The Riverside Fire Department said a vehicle with two occupants went over an embankment at 2:40 a.m. while traveling westbound on Spruce Street near Kansas Avenue.
“We used the Jaws of Life and stabilization equipment to remove both patients. One patient had moderate injuries and the other patient had minor injuries,” Battalion Chief Tony Perna said.
Both people were taken to a trauma center, fire officials said.
