Firefighters Wednesday extinguished a residential structure fire in Wildomar that displaced three people.

The Riverside County Fire Department said it received a report of the blaze at 8:59 a.m. in the 24000 block of Raymond Street.

First responders reported smoke and fire visible from outside the building, and crews were able to put out the blaze at 10:17 a.m., officials said.

The American Red Cross was called to assist the one adult and two minors who were displaced by the blaze.

The cause was under investigation.
