A pedestrian was struck by a big rig and killed Saturday in a Temecula intersection.
The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. at Winchester and Murrieta Hot Springs roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, fire officials said. The gender and age of the pedestrian were not immediately available.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating.
