It took 36 minutes for Riverside County firefighters to put out flames that engulfed two mobile homes in Desert Hot Springs Monday morning.
The fires were reported at 2:27 a.m. in the 64600 block of Pierson Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Wind gusts of 20 mph were in the area, fire officials said.
The flames were out at 3:06 a.m. and firefighters continued efforts to put out hot spots, the officials said. No injuries were reported.
