Crews cleaned up debris Monday from a road that has been closed for three days due to flooding.

About 7:45 p.m. on Friday, North Indian Canyon Drive closed due to flooding from Sunrise Parkway to Garnet Avenue, according to Palm Springs city officials.

North Indian Canyon Drive remained closed at the wash Monday morning due to remaining water, sand and debris. Crews cleaned the debris by about 2:40 p.m., but closures remained as water was flowing into both lanes.

The roadway will remain closed on Monday and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday for a possible re-opening, city officials said.
