An outage knocked out power to more than 300 Imperial Irrigation District customers in Indio Tuesday.
The outage began at 9:09 a.m. Tuesday, affecting 371 customers, and a trouble shooter was sent to fix the issue, IID public information officer Robert Schettler told City News Service. By 10:30 a.m. power was restored for all but 69 customers.
Schettler told CNS that full power was expected to be restored within six hours.
The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
The IID provides electricity to more than 150,000 customers in parts of Riverside and San Diego counties, and all of Imperial County.
