Forecasters are predicting sunny skies and warm weather in Riverside County this week.
Temperatures reached the 90s Sunday in Coachella and Palm Springs, and the mid-70s in downtown Riverside and Hemet. Overnight lows were expected to drop into the mid-40s in Temecula and Hemet, the lower 50s in downtown Riverside and the lower 60s in Palm Springs, according to the National Weather Service.
Palm Springs will experience windy weather Monday through Tuesday night, with winds expected to range from 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
For the rest of the week, skies will continue to be sunny and temperatures will begin warming up, getting into the low 80s by Thursday and mid-80s by the weekend in most areas.
