A mellow jams music festival will be returning to the shores of Lake Perris in September, running for three consecutive days, it was announced Tuesday.

The “Same Same But Different” — SSBD — fest is slated for Sept. 28 to Oct. 1 on Moreno Beach, according to organizers.

An SSBD event was also held last fall at Lake Perris.

“This year promises to be better than ever, with an epic lineup,” according to an SSBD Fest statement. “Festival-goers will enjoy a mix of established and emerging talents across various genres, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere.”

Some of the bands already booked include Blu De Tiger, Hippie Sabotage, Louis the Child and Big Wild.

The styles lean toward electronica and coffee house.

Attendees will have the option of camping on-site or entering the Lake Perris State Recreation Area via their own vehicles, shuttle services, or on foot.

“The SSBD experience will be packed with four main stages of fantastic music across the beach, exciting workshops, yoga sessions, camping, swimming and a focus on community,” organizers said.

Entertainment will begin about 8 a.m. daily, concluding as late as 2 a.m.
