The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Sunday for the 11th time in the last 12 days, falling six-tenths of a cent to $4.781.

The average price has dropped 7.2 cents over the past 12 days, including 1.2 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 3.7 cents less than one week ago, two-tenths of a cent more than one month ago, and $1.464 less than one year ago.

The average price has dropped $1.592 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5.

The national average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.574. It is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, the same as one month ago, and $1.334 less than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.442 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
