The Country Squire RV Park in Desert Hot Springs was evacuated Tuesday as firefighters battled a fire that engulfed at least seven trailers.
Fire crews responded shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday to the 66400 block of Dillon Road, a representative of the Riverside County Fire Department told City News Service.
According to the fire department, at least seven trailers were involved in the fire, which quickly went to a second alarm as crews call for additional support.
Due to the presence of a 500-gallon propane tank, the entire trailer park was evacuated as a precaution, fire officials said.
No injuries were immediately reported. The cause of the fire was not known.
