The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County was unchanged Monday at $4.466, a day after dropping seven-tenths of a cent.
The average price dropped nine times in 10 days, decreasing 13.9 cents, including 1.5 cents Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 11.7 cents less than one week ago and 11.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 9.6 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.907 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped for the 19th time in the last 21 days, slipping one-tenths of a cent to $3.068. The national average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 1.9 cents lower than one month ago and 23.2 cents cheaper than one year ago. It has dropped $1.948 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
