A rollover crash Monday on a connector road for the Interstate 15/Route 60 Interchange in Eastvale prompted lane closures, snarling traffic at the location.

The crash happened about 10:20 a.m. on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway transition to northbound Interstate 15, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said the vehicle flipped over while turning onto the connector, and no other vehicles were involved.

The driver self-extricated and was assessed a short time later by Riverside County Fire Department paramedics, who determined he was not injured.

CHP officers shut down the transition bridge, prompting a SigAlert due to the ensuing traffic jam at the busy interchange.

The closure was expected to be lifted around noon.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
