American Tommy Paul will take on Russian Daniil Medvedev Saturday in a semifinal match at the BNP Paribas Open, with a spot in the finals at stake against the winner of Saturday’s other semifinal match between Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Italy’s Jannik Sinner.

Alcaraz and Sinner will square off at approximately 1:30 p.m., with Paul and Medvedev to follow their match.

The 26-year-old Paul, who was born in Voorhees Township, NJ, is ranked 17th on the Association of Tennis Professionals Tour, while Medvedev is ranked fourth.

Alcaraz, 20, is ranked second, while the 22-year-old Sinner is ranked third.
