The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County was unchanged Monday at $5.29, a day after it dropped two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 2.3 cents less than one week ago, but 31 cents more than one month ago and 46.8 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.083 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.659. It is 1.6 cents less than one week ago, but 12.2 cents more than one month ago and 4.4 cents higher than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.357 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
