The Coachella Football Club will make its debut Saturday evening, facing Capo FC in a 7 p.m. game at Desert Mirage High School.
Coachella FC is a member of USL League Two, which gives pre-professional soccer players the opportunity to train and compete at the highest level while maintaining their collegiate eligibility.
“Coachella Football Club is not just a club; we are a dream factory,” said general manager Nacho Bustillos, a Coachella Valley-based musical artist. “We are here to guide, to train, and to elevate. With USL League Two, Coachella FC won’t just be a participant — we plan to make a statement. We’re here to stay, to grow, and to dominate.”
The team will play its first five home games at Desert Mirage High School and final two at Shadow Hills High School in Indio.
