Comedian Nikki Glaser is making a stand-up stop at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage as part of her “Alive and Unwell Tour” Saturday.
The Ohio native’s career in comedy started with a handful of specials and podcasts, in addition to appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Conan.” Since then, she’s co-hosted Sirius XM radio programs, appeared in Judd Apatow’s 2015 film “Trainwreck” and earned Emmy and Critic’s Choice nominations.
Glaser’s latest special, “Someday You’ll Die,” which premiered on HBO in May, has amassed more than 2 million views, including the best premiere night viewership by an HBO comedy special in two years, according to the company. She also appeared as one of the featured roasters on the recent “Roast of Tom Brady” on Netflix.
She made several stops in Southern California earlier this year, including sets at multiple Los Angeles venues as part of the “Netflix is a Joke” festival in March. After taking the Agua Caliente stage, she’ll head across North America, including in-state stops in Paso Robles, Lincoln and Modesto.
