The Riverside County Fire Department doused a residential blaze in Indio Wednesday.
The structural fire was first reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the attic of a single-story dwelling on the 80800 block of Highway 111, according to a department statement. Officials said the fire was “extinguished on arrival” of the first unit.
RCFD personnel expected to remain at the scene for an hour to complete overhaul.
No injuries were reported.
