The Hot Rod Power Tour West, which calls itself “America’s Largest Traveling Car Show,” will make a pit stop at Riverside County Fairgrounds Wednesday.
Launched in 1995 by Hot Rod magazine staff, the tour traditionally takes place in the South and Midwest, with the western leg debuting last year.
Attendees can expect to see classic cars, hot rods and performance cars, joined by Hot Rod editors and photographers.
Autocross, a motorsport involving short obstacle courses on a dirt surface, will also be part of the attractions at the Indio location, according to Motortrend.
Wednesday marks the tour’s third consecutive destination in Southern California, following visits to Pomona on Monday and San Diego on Tuesday. After leaving Indio, the tour will make two additional stops in Arizona to wrap up the week.
