Kevin Costner & Modern West will perform at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Friday.
Best known as an actor and filmmaker, Costner formed a county rock back in 2007, releasing four albums over the next five years. The fourth project, “Famous for Killing Each Other: Music from and Inspired by Hatfields & McCoys,” reached No. 73 on the Billboard 200.
The group’s current lineup includes John Coinman, Teddy Morgan, Blair Forward, Larry Cobb, Park Chisolm, Luke Bulla, Bobby Yang and Roddy Chong.
Recently, Kevin Costner & Modern West also released the song “Find Your Way,” with proceeds going to the victims of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.
Costner also directed the movie “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1” earlier this year, financing $38 million of the film himself. Chapter 2 is scheduled for a 2025 theatrical release, while Costner said production on Chapter 3 will be completed early next year.
He has plans for another installment, with himself, Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington and Giovanni Ribisi appearing in all four.
