Three adults were displaced by a residential fire that originated from a bathroom ceiling fan in Riverside, officials said Monday.
The fire was reported just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 10100 block of Keegan Court where firefighters found a smoldering fire in blown-in insulation in the attic space above a hallway and bathroom, according to the Riverside Fire Department.
Crews contained the fire by 5:45 p.m. and removed the blown-in insulation. Firefighters believe the cause of the fire was a bathroom ceiling fan.
