Organizers of Low Dez Fest, a fermented and non-alcoholic beverage festival putting LGBTQ+, women and BIPOC winemakers, brewers and distributors in the spotlight, will host a kickoff party Friday ahead of the main event.

Friday’s 6:30 p.m. pre-event at the Drift Hotel and Saturday’s festival will both benefit The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert, according to organizers.

In addition to receiving a portion of the proceeds, The Center “will also have a presence” throughout the event, such as providing information about The Center’s services and programs.

Low Dez Fest itself will begin at 3 p.m. at Market Market, featuring food, live music and drinks from around the Coachella Valley and beyond.

Attendees will be able to showcase their products, sample others’ and participate in community-building activities, according to organizers.

Both the pre-event and festivals have VIP early access opportunities, with doors opening 60-90 minutes beforehand. Additional details and ticket information can be found at lowdezfest.com.
