The McCallum Theatre will celebrate the season Thursday evening with a performance of the holiday classic “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet.”
The international cast, featuring Ukrainian principal artists, will perform the Tchaikovsky classic at 7 p.m. Thursday.
“Nutcracker” will feature acrobatic sequences and festive, hand-crafted sets and costumes, according to theatre staff.
Traditionally set at the foot of a Christmas tree, the two-act ballet has been a beloved holiday classic in the United States for 80 years.
