The average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline in Riverside County rose for the fourth day in a row, rising nine-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.276, a day after rising two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1.6 cents more than one week ago, but 5.9 cents less than one month ago and 25.7 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.097 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.041, a day after it was unchanged. It is 1.1 cents less than one week ago, 1.5 cents less than one month ago and 8.6 cents less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.975 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
