The average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline in Riverside County rose one-tenth of a cent Thursday to $4.275, a day after dropping two-tenths of a cent, and has increased five of the past six days.
The average price is 2.3 cents more than one week ago, but 6.2 cents less than one month ago and 27 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.098 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.042, a day after dropping one-tenth of a cent. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 2.5 cents less than one month ago and 8.4 cents less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.974 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
