Crews put out fire in a single-story residence that was deemed in heavy fire conditions, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 2:48 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of 11th Street, according to the Riverside Fire Department.
The first arriving engine stretched a hose line to the front door and entered the home to combat the fire. Firefighters knocked down the fire approximately 20 minutes later, the department said.
Investigators said the fire appeared to have originated from faulty equipment.
No injures were reported.
