The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.66, the third time in four days it had changed by two-tenths of a cent or less.
The Riverside County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent Friday, two-tenths of a cent Saturday and three-tenths of a cent Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 30 cents higher than one month ago, but eight-tenths of a cent less than one year ago.
The Riverside County average price has dropped $1.713 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.144, decreasing for the fourth consecutive day. It has dropped 2.1 cents over the past four days, including a six-tenths of a cent Sunday. It is 1.7 cents less than one week ago and 12 cents lower than one year ago but 1.1 cents more than one month ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.872 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
