A residential fire was knocked down by firefighters Wednesday in Riverside with no injuries reported.
The fire was reported shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of McKinley Street. Three engine companies, one ambulance and 16 firefighters arrived to find a detached garage well involved with fire, according to the Riverside Fire Department.
Crews remained at the scene for approximately 90 minutes to extinguish hot spots, perform salvage operations and to investigate the cause, Battalion Chief Allen said.
No further information was immediately available.
