The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County ticked upward by one-tenth of a cent to $4.752 after dropping for six consecutive days.
The average price is 6.4 cents less than one week ago, 26.3 cents more than one month ago and 55 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.621 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The slight increase follows six days of decreased prices.
The national average price dropped for the eighth time in the last nine days, decreasing five-tenths of a cent to $3.184. It is 6.905 cents less than one week ago, 11.005 cents more than one month ago and 44.405 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.832 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
