The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped 1 cent Saturday to $4.66, its 11th decrease in the past 12 days.
The average price has dropped 9.2 cents over the past 12 days, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.1 cents less than one week ago, 14.7 cents more than one month ago and 63.1 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.713 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped 1.1 cents to $3.153. It is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago, three-tenths of a cent more than one month ago and 50.6 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.863 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
