The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped 1.5 cents Saturday to $4.60, its 11th decrease in 12 days.
The average price has dropped 11 cents over the past 12 days, including 1 cent Friday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 6 cents less than one week ago, 19.2 cents less than one month ago and 65.7 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.773 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped 1 cent to $3.17. It is 1.7 cents more than one week ago, but 8.9 cents less than one month ago and 49.6 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.846 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
