The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Tuesday for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 1.8 cents to $4.68.
The average price has increased 9.6 cents over the past six days, including eight-tenths of a cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 9.6 cents more than one week ago, but 7.1 cents less than one month ago and 49 cents lower than one year ago
The average price has dropped $1.693 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose 2.1 cents to $3.157, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent to $3.136. It has dropped 7.1 cents over the past 12 days, including four-tenths of a cent Sunday.
The national average price is one-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 3.1 cents lower than one month ago and 46.1 cents below what is was one year ago. It has dropped $1.859 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
